Memorial Day 2023 is on Monday, May 29.

To get into the holiday spirit, several chains and franchises are offering free food and deals on Monday, according to Offers.com, The Krazy Coupon Lady and Parade.

Here are some deals and freebies you can get on and around May 29.

Applebee’s: Get Applebee’s “2 for $25″ deal that’s going on through the holiday weekend. The deal includes one or two entrees, including the Top Sirloin, Fiesta Lime Chicken and Classic Cheeseburger, and a choice of appetizer or two side salads. You can order this deal for dine-in, to-go or delivery through Applebees.com or through the restaurant’s app. Plus, from now until May 28, you can get free delivery with the code FREEDELIVERY on all online and app orders.

Bob Evans: Active and retired military, as well as veterans, get 10% off their check.

Bonefish Grill: Service members and first responders get 10% off at Bonefish Grill throughout the year.

Boston Market: Veterans and active duty military can get 10% off their meal depending on location.

Buffalo Wild Wings: Veterans and active duty military can get 10-15% off their meal, depending on location.

Carrabba’s: Military service members and first responders get a 10% HEROES discount all year long. Also, people who want to thank a first responder or service member with a meal from Carrabba’s can buy $50 in gift cards online and get a $10 bonus card. They can redeem the bonus card between June 19 and August 20.

Dairy Queen: Select locations offer military and veterans discounts up to 50% off select items and orders.

Dave & Buster’s: Get 10% off your food bill, if you show your military ID.

Denny’s: Members of the military can get 10% off, and at select Denny’s locations, they can get a free Build Your Own Grand Slam.

Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar: From May 26 to May 29, Fleming’s is offering a Burger & Wine menu for a discounted price. Guests can choose from a prime burger, California burger or crispy chickpea and eggplant burger with a glass of Flowers Pinot Noir for only $30 starting at 4 p.m. You also can order filet mignon sandwich with a glass of Flowers Pinot Noir for $35.

Fogo de Chao: Veterans and active duty military can get 50% off their meal and 10% off the meals of up to three guests on Memorial Day.

Hard Rock Cafe: Military personnel can get 15% off at the Hard Rock Cafe and other benefits, if they present their military ID and sign up for the Veterans Program. The offer is valid all year round.

Hooters: From May 27-29, you can take part in the chain’s build your own burger deal plus fries for $9.99. The restaurant also offers active duty members and veterans with a valid military ID a free entreĆ© on Memorial Day, 10% off daily year round and 15% off on Tuesdays.

Joe’s Crab Shack: Military members and veterans can get 15% off their meal when they dine in on May 31.

IHOP: Customers with a valid military ID can get 10% off their bill at select locations. The restaurant also is offering free delivery on orders made through the IHOP website or app until May 30.

Kona Grill: Military members, veterans, first responders, healthcare professionals, teachers and other essential workers are eligible for 20% off when they dine-in.

Long John Silver’s: Those who show their military ID can get 20% off on Memorial Day and every Monday.

Jersey Mike’s: Service members can get 10% off their bill.

Miller’s Ale House: Active duty military and veterans can get 50% off their entree of choice on Memorial Day.

Ruby Tuesday: The restaurant is offering $9.99 “ALL DAY” deals, which include 6-ounce Ribeye, the Endless Garden Bar EntreĆ©, Ruby’s Cheeseburger or the Meaty Baked Penne when you dine in or order online from May 26-28.

Outback Steakhouse: All service members, veterans, first responders, healthcare professionals, police and firefighters can get 10% off their bill with valid ID every day.

Red Lobster: Those who show their military ID can get 10% off on Memorial Day and every Monday.

The Melting Pot: Military can get a 10% discount off their order every day.
